Swing Trading is defined as trading the time frame between Day Trading and Position Trading. Swing Trading will have trades between a couple of hours to a couple of months.

Day Traders will not hold overnight. Position Trades, Hedge Funds or other Institutional Investors only take on positions that last for months. The area in between them contains a lot of opportunities and is dominated by Swing Traders.
